Happy birthday Austin. We hope you had a great day.
2F students have been enjoying the help that Mr Jeavons gives to our class. He listens to students read and asks them some questions about the story to ensure they understand what they are reading.
The extra bonus is that he brings along a special coin from his amazing and extensive collection. It is so interesting to hear about the coins - where they're made and what makes them special. His new $5 coins is so beautiful - 99% silver with a detailed gold Thylacine in a background of bushland - stunning! Mr West has been taking our class in groups for some Math games that require quick calculations. We have all had a lot of fun. I was with them on Wednesday so I was able to snap them in action! Every student in 2F is making excellent progress with their reading. Reading levels are increasing quite rapidly for most students, especially those who are returning their Reading Log regularly as someone is hearing them read at school almost every day. Congratulations to all students particularly those who have received certificates in the past week. Come and see our leaf insects next time you are calling by.
They're growing bigger every day. Today one of them started to shed its skin! Here is a photo of two of them when just hatched and now! |
